PRODUCT LAUNCHES & MEDIA EVENTS
Want a venue as unique as your product? Want to make your product shine? Camperdown Commons is the ideal location for media and product launches.
The Common Pavilion is the ideal setting for the launch, with the Common Room having the ability to either be a BOH or part of the main event! As it can take hours to set the scene for the perfect events, hire prices include a flat, all day hire, so there are no concerns with bump in and bump out.
Hire inclusions
The following are included in your hire for your media event:
- 12 tables and 60 chairs
- AV and projector (Common Room)
- Jack to play music
- Heating and air-conditioner (Common Room)
- Heating and ceiling fans (Common Pavilion)
Catering by acre
There are a number of catering packages available for your hire:
acre may also be able to tailor a menu specifically for your event, so please provide this information if required in your enquiry.
Please note no outside food and drinks can be brought into the site, however, products specific to the launch will be a considered on a case by case basis.
For the consumption of beverages, you can either have a tab at the bar, a cash bar or unlimited spend.
For groups of 20 or more, pre-order of beers and wines is requested.

Camperdown Commons is a
shared community hub, so please note there will be other patrons in the
restaurant, the other community spaces, and within the whole facility.
- As Camperdown
Commons is a community space, it is the hirer’s responsibility to set up
and pack down the space for any events being held.
- Camperdown Commons
is a good neighbour, and all events must respect our neighbours and
other patrons. Noise levels for all events are strictly controlled.
SUPPORTING POCKET CITY FARMS INITIATIVE FOR THE DISADVANTAGED
A portion of hire
proceeds for the Common Pavilion, or the entire space (Common Room,
Common Pavilion and courtyard) will be donated to Pocket City Farms for
facilitating workshops for disadvantaged youths and adults. $50 from
each hire on Friday nights from 5pm, and all weekend, for all-day
bookings made on either a Saturday and/or Sunday, $150 will go towards
this worth cause.
