NEW RESTAURANT FACILITY TO COME TO LIFE AT CAMPERDOWN COMMONS

We wish to reassure our neighbours that the recently announced departure of ‘acre’ from
Camperdown Commons effective May 2021 has no material impact on the broader site’s operations.

OUR VISION
Five years ago, Camperdown Project Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL Club
created Camperdown Commons on Mallett Street, Camperdown . . .

to create a facility accessible to all walks of life:
a space where locals could meet, where community could access free and subsidised meeting spaces,
participate in recreational programmes, savour open green space, engage with a working urban farm,
and enjoy affordable farm to table dining experiences.

“In the past 5 years, we have never wavered from that vision.” CAMPERDOWN PROJECT

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT CAMPERDOWN COMMONS

It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since our vision for Camperdown Commons became a reality and our unique community facility was created.

Following the announcement that the site’s current hospitality operator ‘acre’ will depart at the end of May, we want to reassure everyone that the teams at Camperdown Commons and our urban farm provider @pocketcityfarms are still very much on-deck on site and we are working hard to bring you the next chapter for Camperdown Commons. We’ve never wavered from our original vision for the site and we remain committed to keeping you informed on our future plans as soon as we can.

Rest assured our unique little piece of Sydney’s Inner West will continue to offer safe and friendly spaces for the community, quality farm-to-table dining experiences and inclusive recreational and educational experiences for you to engage with. Pocket City Farms have been working super hard in preparing the farm to produce a bumper winter crop and have a great line up of programs and workshops coming your way.

We are working hard on some new hospitality offers which we can’t wait to let you know about. So stay tuned and we look forward to seeing you at Camperdown Commons!
