When are you opening?

At this stage we expect that hospitality venues will be permitted to reopen on Monday 11th of October 2021. (the Monday after 70% is reached).

Camperdown Commons will open the outdoor area for customers to be able to sit and eat or drink.

 

Will your trading hours be the same?

We will update you with our trading hours soon. Please keep an eye on our website for any update as we get closer to our opening date.

 

Will all your staff be fully vaccinated when you open?

The NSW Government has indicated that anyone who enters our premises will need to be fully vaccinated  (have received 2 doses) against COVID-19 or have obtained a medical exemption. This will include staff and customers. 

 

If I am unvaccinated or waiting for my second vaccination, can I still pick up take away or order food from the Container?

Yes, you can access The Commons Container for take away but you cannot consume it on premise. It will strictly be for take away ONLY.

 

Do I still need to check in with a QR code?

All visitors will need to sign in the standard way using the NSW Government QR Code Check in.

In addition, all visitors will also need proof of vaccination if you are enterting the premises.

 

Do I need to be vaccinated to enter Camperdown Commons Premises?

How do I get my vaccination status to show on my phone?

I don't have a mobile phone, what can I use to verify my vaccination status and where do I get it from?

Do my kids needs need to be vaccinated?

Non-vaccinated young people aged under 16 will be able to access all outdoor areas with a responsible adult, but will only be able to visit indoor venues with a responsible adult who is a member of their household.

 

How will the [STAYSAFE] rules be different if we are all vaccinated?

Even when fully vaccinated you can still be infected with COVID-19, and it can still be spread. Therefore, for the health and safety of everyone, we will ask everyone to please continue to follow the [STAY SAFE RULES]  until advised otherwise.

OUTDOOR AREAS - masks are not required. 

 

Will you be doing temperature checks?

No- however, Camperdown Commons will follow the Public Health Orders and relevant rules and regulations as we have always.

 

Will you be increasing your cleaning regime?

Camperdown Commons has a very robust cleaning and sanitisation programme along with a COVID Safe Plan which reflects industry best practice. The COVID Safe practices are prescribed by NSW Health. We take the health and safety of our customers and staff seriously to bring you a safe and enjoyable environment now and when we reopen. Our premises are thoroughly cleaned daily
and we clean frequently touched surfaces regularly across our trading day.

 

Do I have to remain seated in the outside area?

You will only be allowed to drink whilst standing up when in an outdoor area. You will be required to remain seated whilst drinking whilst indoors.

 

What if somebody comes to the venue and isn't vaccinated - is there a fine?

The NSW Government has indicated that there will be penalties for both individuals and business for not complying with the Public Health Orders. When we reopen our staff cannot admit anyone who cannot demonstrate they are fully vaccinated.

 

I'm not vaccinated and can't come into the venue, can I still pick up take away?

We do not yet have this detail from Government but we expect that to enter and remain any part of our premises you will need to be fully vaccinated.

 

When will you allow unvaccinated patrons into the Club?

We're unsure, at present we are following the Public Health Orders and relevant rules and regulations as we have always done. We hope to have a further announcement soon.

 

Will you be asking people with vaccination exemptions to show a negative Covid-19 test prior to entering the premises?

We are waiting for the Public Health Orders to be published and will follow all directions relating to those people who have the appropriate medical exemption. We will advise members when we know more.

 

BOOKINGS

Do I need to book a table?

We will not be taking walk-ins unless you have a group of 6 and above. A deposit may be required at the time of booking for large groups.

To make a booking, please call  02 9559 0050  between 7am – 3pm Monday to Thursday & 12.30pm – 7pm Saturday to Sunday

 

When will you start taking bookings?

We will update you soon via our website, social media & e-news with more details of our opening date and operational times.

Group bookings are limited to a maximum of 20 people under expected Public Health Orders. 

 

FUNCTIONS

Will you be taking bookings for functions?

Yes, please email Camperdown@commons.com.au and one of our team members will get back to you. Group bookings are currently limited to a maximum of 20 people. It is expected we will know what we can do by the time we open.

 

If I book a function for December and something changes with the restrictions, can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes you can. We have always been flexible with changes, rebookings and refunds.
