OUR COMMUNITY NEWS
Camperdown Commons shares an environmental management plan with Pocket City Farms which speaks to what we do and more importantly - how we do it. This ranges from the raw materials we use through to sustainable farming practices, into using the produce in our menus and eventually composting the food and other waste products. We seek to educate our staff just as much as the community and as a sign of our commitment we have food forest along Mallet St with a 150 m frontage that is locals are welcome to pick from. There’s the Community Pantry where you can pick up food which includes seedlings as well a drop food off to those less fortunate. One of course, you can drop in to the Farm Café if you want to buy the freshest of fruits, herbs and vegetables.
